Lego Houses

Yesterday we had great fun testing different materials to see how waterproof they were. We were trying to find out which was the best material for a waterproof roof for a Lego house. 



We discovered that the plastic wallet was the best material for building a Lego house roof because it was very waterproof and the plastic did not break like some of the other materials we tested.

Warwick Castle

Yesterday, we had the most amazing day at Warwick Castle. When we first arrived we headed up the towers and did the rampart walk. Some of us were nervous about climbing all those spiral stairs and getting to the top. But we were very proud of ourselves and it was a great sense of achievement and relief when we got to the bottom of the last tower. Next was the maze. We collected our 'Time Passport' and set about finding the six periods of history and collected a stamp from each one. We had a giggle taking these photos and finding out some interesting facts about the Gunpowder Plot. After we had collected our prize, we then headed to meet the bowman. He was very entertaining and told us lots about medieval warfare. We really enjoyed watching him try and hit the target. He made it look much easier than it actually is. Whilst we had our lunch we watched the amazing Falconer's Quest Birds of Prey display. It was quite a spectacle and having
