We were lucky enough to have a visit from a member of The Dogs Trust in Evesham today. She brought with her a cuddly soft dog called Biscuit. She told us all about the importance of walking your dog, brushing your dog, playing with your dog and even taught us how to pick up dog poo! We found this very funny! We have lots of ideas for our writing on Friday now.
Yesterday, we had the most amazing day at Warwick Castle. When we first arrived we headed up the towers and did the rampart walk. Some of us were nervous about climbing all those spiral stairs and getting to the top. But we were very proud of ourselves and it was a great sense of achievement and relief when we got to the bottom of the last tower. Next was the maze. We collected our 'Time Passport' and set about finding the six periods of history and collected a stamp from each one. We had a giggle taking these photos and finding out some interesting facts about the Gunpowder Plot. After we had collected our prize, we then headed to meet the bowman. He was very entertaining and told us lots about medieval warfare. We really enjoyed watching him try and hit the target. He made it look much easier than it actually is.
